The Black Bra
(as told by a woman)

I had lunch with 2 of my unmarried friends.
One is engaged, one is a mistress, and I have been married for 20+ years.

We were chatting about our relationships and decided to amaze our men by greeting them at the door
Wearing a black bra, stiletto heels and a mask over our eyes. We agreed to meet in a few days to exchange notes..

Here’s how it all went.

My engaged friend:
The other night when my boyfriend came over he found me with a black leather bodice, tall stilettos and a mask.
He saw me and said, ‘You are the woman of my dreams.
I love you.’ Then we made passionate love all night long.

The mistress:
Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing a raincoat, under it only the black bra, heels and
Mask over my eyes. When I opened the raincoat he didn’t say a word, but he started to tremble and we had wild sex all night.

Then I had to share my story:
When my husband came home I was wearing the black bra,
Black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes.
When he came in the door and saw me he said,

“What’s for dinner, Zorro?”

Brigitte’s Pick: Lincoln and Kennedy. Are These Curious Coincidences True?

From an old email, but is this true?

History Mystery

Have  a history teacher explain this —– if they  can.

Abraham  Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was  elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected  President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in  1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White  House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both  Presidents were shot in the head

Now it gets really  weird.

Lincoln ‘s secretary was named  Kennedy.
Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were  succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who  succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who  succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John  Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in  1839.
Lee  Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was  born in  1939.

Both  assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are  composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater  named ‘Ford’.
Kennedy was shot in a car called ‘ Lincoln ‘ made  by ‘Ford’.

Lincoln was shot in a theater and  his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a  warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth  and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here’s  the kicker…

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland

A week before Kennedy  was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Protect Antarctic Biodiversity: Save The Krill

October 19, 2010

Care2 sent me this email this morning. I thought I’d better share ….

Add your photo to show that you care about the future of Antarctica’s wildlife »

Dear Reader,

Antarctic krill are shrimp-like organisms that lie at the base of the Antarctic food web. Unfortunately, these small creatures are under increasing pressure from climate change and industrial fishing.

That is why our friends at the Antarctic Krill Conservation Project have launched a creative and effective campaign to protect krill. Submit your photo to take action »

The Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) will be meeting next week and making decisions that could save krill populations.

Why are these little creatures so important to the biodiversity of Antarctica? Antarctic krill are the favorite food of penguins, whales, seals and other wildlife in this harsh environment. And it’s getting harder for the larger species to find the krill that they need to survive.

But you can help — and it only takes a minute. Submit a photo of yourself to become part of an international photo mosaic of a penguin asking the CCAMLR to protect krill. This mosaic will be delivered next week to delegates from 25 nations when they meet to decide on how to manage the krill fishery.

If you have already submitted a photo, thank you! You may submit a second photo; but please make sure that you submit *at least* one photo to be part of this monumental project. Join the international mosaic today »

Thank you for taking action!
