Thai Days: Chang and bird on a twig

by

Hugh Paxton’s Blog has to say Chang’s about as good as they get. There’s a small bird that roosts on a swaying twig. By day she’s brash, aggressive, she’s being herself. At night, she’s not quite the queen of the world. And everything will try to leave me with a mess of feathers and gooey bits. Unless something swallows her completely. That’s unlikely. A python wouldn’t bother. A monitor wouldn’t try. Her twig is security.

Back to Chang! I suggested he suspend any work that involves essential house maintenance. And build a bird box to be nailed into the wall by the twig.

So the bird, annoying though it is, can sleep safe and sound.

“Do you want anything for this?”

“I want nothing.”

I call that class!

Hugh
